Myhre Studio is seeking a part-time office/production manager

Myhre Studio, a portrait photography studio specializing in children, family and high school senior photography, is seeking an energetic individual with excellent  people skills and an appreciation of photography as art to join our team as production manager. Position duties include client care, scheduling, assembling portrait orders, framing portraits and managing supplies. Applicant must have basic computer skills such as working with Microsoft Word and Excel. No other prior experience or training required but experience in sales, web design or with Photoshop, Indesign or Quickbooks a plus.

 

Production Manager

  • Assemble portrait orders including:
    • Print mounting
    • Packaging
    • Quality Control
    • Framing
    • Album Assembly
  • Contact clients to set up pickup appointments
  • Order Production Supplies including frames, folders, boxes, packaging, mounting supplies.
  • Contact vendors for ordering, remakes.

Office Manager

  • Order & manage general office supplies including paper and printing, binding, supplies, envelopes, postage
  • Tasks through Studio Plus our studio management software
    • Invoicing
    • Scheduling sessions and appointments
    • Accept payments by cash, check and credit card
    • Processing bank deposits
  • Answering questions and sending information to inquiries
  • Printing and organizing studio forms

Compensation is hourly starting at $7/hour which is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Hours are flexible but commitment during busy season will reach full time. Expect more hours from July 1 to September 30 and December 1 to December 23. Employees receive discounts on portraits and framing.
