"At least it was as nice night for football" doesn't really ease the disappointment of a 14-28 loss to the Harrisburg Tigers. One of Luverne's bright spots was Matt Fodness and his fumble recover and touchdown reception. Photos from the game are in the gallery.

For the past few years, Brenda and I have volunteered at the Lifelight Christian music festival held near Sioux Falls over Labor Day weekend. We are fortunate enough to be able to serve God by taking care of the "Pasture" camping area that serves as home for about 2500 people for the weekend. I put the camera down for a few days and Brenda and I put on our camping hats and transform ourselves into campground host and hostess. These two unlikely looking Lifelight photographers are non other than Chad Phillips from Sioux Falls and Ron Jacobson from Mayville, ND. More photos in the gallery here.

It was the Luverne High School Class of 1978 reunion a week or so ago. Yes, I'm that old. We had a great time. Thanks Mark for hosting the event and to Kathy, Carla and others for all your cooking and organization. The two group photos are in the gallery.

The annual 4-H horse show was Friday and Saturday. Thanks to all the superintendents who put in many hours working with the riders. It really shows. Rock County has a great  horse program. I took photos of all (I hope) the Senior and Intermediate riders on Saturday. They are in the Gallery. I've had so much fun taking photos of my daughter, Kate, that I thought everyone else would appreciate them too. Please enjoy the photos and feel free to print them if you like.

You never know what you'll find in the alley behind the studio. The electricians were good enough to leave this blue van seat for Derek to relax in.

Not a lot of dads are along for senior sessions. Maybe they should be. Alison's dad took his job as clothing supervisor and reflector holder very seriously.
